Jon Weisberger Asheville Concert reviews
my Odyssee to Gillette Stadium.
Gillette is a first class facility with good visibility from most all locations and comfortable seats (not certain about the upper level stratospheric sections). The game was essentially a demonstration or practice by one of the world's better teams against one of the worst Jon Weisberger teams in years. I feel sorry for them and coach Nichol. TRAFFIC was horrendous, PARKING was very poorly organized. We missed most of the first half! After the game, it took well over an hour before traffic STARTED to move. Gus (an ardent soccer fan and supporter of the Revs) feels very reluctant to recommend a similar event in the future due to what occurred before and after the game. Upon leaving the North Shore at 5.30 PM, we returned after 1 AM. When are we getting a soccer specific stadium within Metropolitan Boston within reach of public transportation? Enough said.
